Board members and employees are expected to avoid situations in which their personal interests could conflict with the interests of Construction Angels.
Conflict of Interest Policy
A governance policy designed to help Board members and employees avoid, disclose and properly address conflicts between personal interests and the interests of Construction Angels.
Protecting the Integrity of the Organization
The Construction Angels policy directs Board members and employees to remain alert to situations that could create an actual or potential conflict between personal interests and the interests of the organization.
The policy assigns oversight responsibilities to the Finance Committee and establishes an annual disclosure process so potential conflicts can be identified, reported and reviewed.
Potential or existing conflicts should be reported to the Executive Director so they can be reviewed by the appropriate committee and, when necessary, the Board.
The policy provides for recurring conflict-of-interest disclosures and written confirmation that covered individuals understand and are complying with the policy.
